The Quran emphasizes the pursuit of knowledge as a religious duty. Surah Al-Zumar (39:9) states, “Say, 'Are those who know equal to those who do not know?' ” This verse underscores the importance of seeking knowledge, regardless of gender.

Yeah, I've seen them snaking through highway traffic. Someone needs to add to the regulations that paint is not a valid form of infrastructure.

Don't tell the Eastern Europeans that. But it's funny how it's kinda accurate, though.

That is ofc true. I use analog thermometers, s compass and paper maps hiking. In the event of an apocalypse I'm well set. But for most people those just aren't meaningful skills most of the time.

You haven't lived until some YouTuber, who's basically a child, makes a video about the game you play, and calls it "vintage".

Got a guy in my neighborhood blasting nineties techno and Eurodance from his bike, when he's exercising. I've asked him to use headphones but he's worried he won't hear the cars *facepalm*

I mean, why would they? Analogue clocks are a product of gears and mechanics, expressing the passage of time through a pendulum. Might as well teach the kids morse code, Latin, and how a steam engine works.

Surströmming is banned at political rallies and demonstrations in Sweden, because in 2014 a group of Nazis had a public assembly. And because they are all about pure Swedish culture, counter protesters showed up and opened up several cans of surströmming in their honor. Needless to say, this cleared everyone out very quickly and was later ruled as to extreme and a violation of Nazis right to free speech.
