Yeaaah this is a little different from wanting to walk on to a train platform or jump off the edge of a building. And I know you don’t mean to but if someone tells you’re they’re depressed and have suicidal thoughts it would be very confusing for the person if you’re like yeah everyone has it though. Haha well everyone assumed I was their age cause I am tiny. This friend of mine that’s ten years younger hovers a good foot above me, granted he is extremely tall for his age. I’m also plenty “immature” which probably doesn’t help people guess my age so these guys were legitimately shook when they found out

It’s my first world problem in a third world country haha but that’s awesome that you guys stuck to it and while I joke about it I’m honestly glad that I’m saving water too.
The closest I’ve come to something like that is when a few years ago something went wrong at the desalination plant that provides our city with fresh water and they weren’t able to fix it for weeks. Cue absolute havoc as a city of over 150k people realized that they will indefinitely not receive any water at all. Shops were basically cleared out of any water and buckets and whatever container people could find and rain water was collected used by families. Offices and schools were closed and most people just didn’t shower and stayed indoors or travelled to other islands until the problem was solved. Tough couple of weeks and made people appreciate water a whooole lot more

Haha 3 minutes of running hot water btw..now I usually wash my hair with cold water first and switch off the water to soap up and all but when I rinse I know the water is limited so I can’t really enjoy it. Although if I wasn’t in a hurry I could always wait for five to ten minutes till the water heats up again

I think it’s more of a personal thing than saying it to someone according to the post. What I mean is I think the post means don’t disregard something before trying it at least once because if you don’t you can’t really understand how it would go. You might have a feeling but until you do you can neither confirm or deny it. I don’t think it’s about telling someone else to not knock it till they try it but telling your own self to be more open
