The education system of the Maldives is also UK based and we have houses as well. In preschool we had colours for the names but in high school which was an all girl's school the houses were named after queens we had when the country used to be a kingdom.

I can’t go in the kitchen or open a snack without my cats trailing. Hobbes especially acts as my food inspector and will only allow me to eat things that she has “supervised” but then gets mad when I can’t share things that she can’t safely eat. But she loves bread and biscuits

I was going to say this. I come from a tourist destination where we find it pretty important to share our culture. We like having guests dress up in our traditional clothes
