I also thought it was strange that the owner was driving to the vet with the intention to put her down. I get making that decision after getting to the vet and going through the options of risks, costs, future complications etc

Actually the rule is that even in situations where you aren’t sure you pray towards what you think is right. If you’re traveling then you pray in the general direction even if your vessel might change course over that time. Intention is what matters when you pray in Islam. Considering how this is fairly common knowledge the tweet might just have to be tagged under “yeah I’m sure that happened and you’re not just writing that cause it’s a funny joke you came up with”
