In my part of Australia, we call them catheads. They are brutal when one of the spines breaks off in your heal!

I think all jobs have value and should be treated as such. I have a degree, but I earn more as a retail manager than I would in my original chosen field. I constantly get criticised for it, but I enjoy what I do and am proud of what I achieve. I can't stand job snobs!

Traditional donuts are deep fried cake batter. These are baked dough, similar to bread.

Guest, you have an excellent point! Learning to interact with others in all aspects of society, means learning how to deal with both the good and bad. We are becoming a society of passive victims. I am in no way justifying or condoning the behaviour of bullies, but parents have a responsibility to develop their children's coping skills. It is no different to teaching their children how to eat right, or to look both ways before crossing the street, they are all essential skills for having a safe and well adjusted adulthood.

So true! My brother has vivid memories of riding an elephant as a child, but we grew up in rural Australia and he never even saw an elephant until he was a teenager.

Don't forget about the week long anxiety of "am I leaking?", "has it leaked?", "did I just feel a leak?", "can I reach the bathroom before it leaks?"
