Chickens will actually eat their own eggs if they get cracked open. My dad also feeds his stuff like fish scraps. Apparently they love it.

Celia, she's just responding to "new wave feminism", she says it several times. Your definition of feminism is the correct and traditional one, but Katie is just responding to the loud and obnoxious feminists that are ruining the definition by claiming that women are better than men, and that embracing your femininity is shameful.

My family served it out of the water it was cooked in. Thinking back on it, serving dishes weren't really our thing. Plus, it keeps your noodles warmer for longer :)

I'm pretty sure that's mainly there to drain the water out of the scoop when you're stirring or serving. Idk though

When is it said that air benders can warm themselves with their breath? I mean, it makes total sense, but don't remember this from the show... sorry

Because it's using typical relationships for the base? For the sake of the infographic, it always works best if you have a standard base and change one thing for each point being illustrated.

All jokes aside, vaccinate your kids 23 comments

They would have "gotten it", yes, but with the vaccine they would have had little to no symptoms of the disease. That's the whole point. You get vaccinated so your body knows what to do when it gets infected with the wild viruses.

I actually learned recently that chalk outlines are usually only for crime scenes where the victim had to be rushed to the hospital, otherwise they would just have the body to go off of for the initial inspection

Basically the same, except said so much more elegantly. This is what we need more of in life. Curse words destroy verbal creativity. (See "The Dead Poet's Society" for more).

It has it's good points and stuff, but I think if you want a good reason to take Tris off the list it would be just because literally all of her decisions (especially in the movies) were very dumb

Potato chips are freaking expensive. Especially compared to buying plain potatoes. Potatoes can (and maybe should be) a poor man's bread and butter, so to speak

There had actually been lots of research recently into crickets and cricket flour specifically. Taking the rest of the world into consideration, it's actually weird for us not to eat bugs. Not saying I'm going to eat them, but it is at least an upcoming trend

The pest makes the corn bad. Unless you're trying to "naturally select" pest resistant genes... Which is basically what the GMO is already

I played it the other day and I couldn't find q or j. It helps when you go backwards from z to a and start with a Zaxby's

Just because the corporation behind GMOs isn't doing "the right thing" doesn't make GMOs inherently bad. For example, genetically modified "golden rice" has saved thousands of people from going blind in rural Asia

WHY WHY WHYYY 10 comments
Why we have obesity 13 comments

It's super easy to make unhealthy stuff cheap. You can pack it full of sugars and salts and freeze it so it'll ship easily and stay fresh for a long time. "Healthy" food is more expensive because it's so fragile and perishable and usually needs to come from closer outlets where prices are generally higher. And it spoils quicker so the higher prices help absorb the cost of spoilage losses. Also, thethirdi is right, it's more about balancing your intake and energy output that contributes to obesity than eating "the right foods"
