Orrr it could be that he's researched about islam and didn't like what he saw. And he could always be talking about people on the internet who say they are muslim or just that he is wary of muslims, when he might meet one. It's not like he's just going around absolutely terrified of any muslim he might meet, he's just going to be wary if he knows.
