The use of the "word" "shephard" and "Shepard" literally makes my eye twitch when I see it. Its Shepherd.

Yep. And that is a fact that's plain to see in people of various races. It's why people with high cheekbones get asked if they are part native American. And why even if someone is white as paper you could tell that they have African descent in them by their facial features.

Yea. He's an American Bully, not a Pit Bull. They're crosses between American Pit Bulls, American Staffs, Neapolitan Mastiffs (which gives them the blue color) and I think bullmastiffs. But no one knows for sure.

Except she is right. Regardless of her inability to spell. She's correct in saying that randomly mixing two breeds together makes dogs more likely to have issues from both parents in the future. Like the Corgi mixes are more likely to develop back issues than their non-corgi brothers and sisters because of their short legs and long backs.

Although her spelling is off, she's completely right. Indiscriminately crossing breeds doesn't make the dog healthier, it makes them more likely to get hereditary defects from both parent breeds.

I adopted a pit from the kill shelter in 2009. He was the best little old man ever. One day I was walking him with my boyfriend and he got loose and took off. He came back whimpering and running away. The park we went to was over a large hill and a lady had slipped down it and hurt her ankle. My dog sensed her and ran to her. My boyfriend helped her back up the hill and we called an ambulance.
Another time my dad was walking him and the dog pulled towards a lady who was sitting on a park bench crying and managed to cheer her up. He loved people and hated when they were hurting.
I ended up giving him to a friend when I moved. He's still the best thing ever.

Malamutes don't have floppy or half pricked ears though. They are essentially just larger huskies.
