I'm not saying the organisation is a good one, BUT the CEO of an organisation (even a nonprofit) this big making money shouldn't be a shocker. They have big responsabilities and stuff.

Okay, I was thinking more of :
You have a 800x600 (for instance) but you have 2 50px black bars on the left and the right. Then you crop them out by deleting those pixels and you are left with a 700x600 picture, there should not be any loss in clarity, since every pixel in the image is left untouched (just "moved" 50px to the left since you changed the 0x0 position).

Not being sarcastic, I genuinely loved Parks and Rec, and I've looked for similar stuff for a while on google and shit. And its kinda unexpected to find your comment here, the post is nowhere related to parks and rec / the office, and I feel like "what if I hadn't clicked to see comments?"

All homework is graded ? Holy cow ! Homework in France just gets corrected on the board, so if you haven't done it, and the teacher doesn't check (checking depends on the teacher, some never do it, some always do it, so you usually know what is gonna get you into trouble if you don't do it), and you aren't sent to correct it you're in the clear.
Hell, my method wouldn't have worked for that, when I say I did my homework in the bus, I meant slamming a series of formulas in physics with no text whatsoever, because thats all I need to explain my reasoning if I'm sent to correct that, but theres no way my teacher would give me a passing grade for the unreadable shit I would hand over.

Damn, I'm glad thats not the case in France. What are the consequences if you don't do your homework ?
Because, in France, since I understood the subject and did well during tests none of my teachers gave me a hard time when I didn't have the work done. The harshest would give a hard time to students who were failing exams and still not doing homework, but if you were doing well, no harm no foul (any papers you had to turn in aside of course).

Okay but seriously, how often does it take you that long to do your homework?
I got through high school doing the homework for the 8-10 classes in the half hour bus ride to school, and would do the homework for the 10-12 during the 8-10 classes and so on, I'm now in engineering school.
Is it an actual thing in the USA where you actually have that much homework. Also, you usually don't study ALL subjects everyday, meaning that you usually have onely half as much work to do.
Finally, its homework, who cares about homework as long as you understand the material? I mean, appart from stuff you have to hand over to the teacher, I didn't really care if I had done my homeworkd or not, I knew I could wing maths/physics/chemistry since high school stuff is literally always doing the same shit, and for any literary stuff I just needed a few bullet points ideas to be able to wing it too.
Its high school, its not that hard.

As a single dude with king size bed, it helps when you have a chick over, it allows you to roll over on your bed without moving your pillow.
And the best perk of em all ? During summer you can sleep on one pillow, flip it when hot, and when the second side is hot too, switch to your cold second pillow.

Except its not.
Depending on which side of 0 you approach, 1/arbitraly small numbers grows larger OR smaller indefinitely.
So the limit on 0+ is +infinity, and the limit on 0- is -infinity. So you can't say 1/0 = infinity

Yeah, I'm not disagreeing with the 1/infinity = 0, that part is mathematically true, and can be proven the way you did. I'm disagreeing with the part you are supposed to prove, which is 1/0 = infinity, since its either +infinity or -infinity depending on which side you approach 0

Can you actually prove that ? Because (and I might be wrong, its been A WHILE since I did math), I recall a theorem saying something along the lines of :
if the lim[x->0, x<0] (1/x) = lim[x->0, x>0] (1/x) then you have 1/0 = said limit.
There were probably some extra rules. Probably something to do with continuity or something, I don't recall
But that simple rule isn't even fulfilled, since
lim[x->0, x<0] (1/x) = -infinity
lim[x->0, x>0] (1/x) = +infinity
So i'm pretty much sure you can't prove that, and more importantly, its mathematically incorrect.

Well if there happens to be a fire, with a bit of panick a stack of chair all around the door can be problematic.
Even if it seems stupid I'm pretty sure its just from a legal point of view. Once I got late to class, had no place to sit, brought in a table/chair from next door, wanted to add it to the end of a row, effectively blocking the passage, and the teacher told me I couldn't as that was a fire hazzard. Those rules often seem over the top, but I guess you are glad they exist when there actually is an emergency.

No its not. Les Mis referes to Les Misérables from Victor Hugo I think, in which case they are speaking french and it is :

The thing about this is that noone is gonna flaunt single. I went to a thing like this abut yellow meant like "just talk", everybody had yellow or red, and I ended up hooking up with another yellow : its a game, you don't just wear a wristband that says 'i nid win plz halp' "
