What happened???

I had a repeat semi-lucid dream before. I had a vampire girlfriend where we spent amazing times together, it felt so real. Every time when the dream would end, she offered me to stay as long as I want, and I knew what that was hinting towards. I didn't know what to do, so I always said I don't know. The last time, the dream was significantly longer and she said I had to make a choice. I said no, and she looked really sad. The dream ended, and I never had it again. I felt kinda depressed afterwards, because she felt like a part of my life.
