You wouldn't hear someone saying "mathematic" you would say "mathematics" so that's why it should be maths not math. And it doesn't have to be plural either. For example the word for mouse in French "souris" is both singular and plural.

I don't care if a fellow catholic told me that they believe marriage should be between a man and a woman. Saying that doesn't make you a bad person because you still acknowledge that they're still humans and aren't outcasts or bad people in general. This is completely different to homophobia and it upsets me when people confuse the two. And for other Catholics out there that are homophobic, go educate yourself, you're only hating the very people God told you not to hate (everyone in general) and if you say that you have the right to judge them because "you can't marry unless it's between a man and woman" because it's in the bible, Then you should be decent enough to know that God also said that "no one can judge you but me" besides if you base your morals around the bible, then you also believe that slavery is a natural and normal thing as well as polygamy.
