Preach it. Like how I said I'm my suuuuper long comment, not all skinny girls are happy with what they see in the mirror either. It doesn't matter if someone is 85 pounds or 185 --- this is a problem that doesn't happen just within a certain weight range. It's sad to see how many people aren't happy with who they see in the mirror. Guys, really... If you're reading this right now and you don't like who you are, please please please know that what other people think really does not matter in the least. You are beautiful and I really really hope that you know that. I may be the first person telling you that, maybe. But that doesn't mean what I'm saying any less genuine. You are beautiful and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, okay?

Thank you!! I was like that in middle school; I weighed 85 pounds (I'm barely at 95 now) and I thought I was ugly and fat because I thought that my hips and thighs were big. It was never a cry for attention, it was the opposite -- I felt like I looked so bad but could never express that to anyone because I was "so thin that I was just doing it for attention" and etc. Maybe my case isn't as common as other people's who are/were insecure, but it took me 3 years to learn that hey, I am beautiful and I don't care what anyone says because I know I am and that's what matters, not the stupid 8th grade girls who are drowning themselves in mascara. Now I'm 15 and I have a much better self-image, but it's kinda sad how long it took me to get here, and all because people think I shouldn't have a problem like that because I'm skinny. I was over twenty pounds underweight and thought I was fat based on what other girls told me was skinny. And no one should ever be led to think something like that.

Not everyone is able to be confident with themselves. Some people are shy or scared and they can't just be like "oh I'm not gonna be scared or be shy anymore" it's not that easy. I get what you're trying to point out with your post and you're partly right, just it's not that easy to some people.
