Only 90's Kids Will Get This 6 comments

As someone who is definitely a 90s kid I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. I feel like I should know, or that I knew at one point but I'm drawing a blank now. I think this one of those things that we went "Hah" too and then completely forgot.

Popular female streamers vs popular male streamers. Yes, it often is accurate. 17 comments

See that really annoys me. It's a legitimate strategy to get followers. Just admit that it's a strategy and move on. We all know it works and if your using it as your source of income have at it. Taking offense because someone points it out is a bit like a football player taking offense when someone says they just practice or use a coach to win games. And for those that want to call those woman names or hate on them they need to get over themselves too. As long as it doesn't get explicit or comes with the appropriate warnings the only people that watch are those who know what they're watching.

Of course. Personally I'm comfortable at 71 F (21.66667 C) but hot at 72 F (22.222222C). This type of sensitivity is one of the reasons people who use Fahrenheit like to give as another reason it's not a bad system.

Farmers for the win! 3 comments

Umm, alot of farms went bankrupt and were seized and sold off by banks. Many suddenly found themselves unable to farm at all because they relied on loans from the bank to purchase seed and couldn't get a loan. There were tons of farms that struggled through the 30s.

I see these or memes along this theme pop up occasionally and they completely bypass the more realistic answer. Which is we watch animals eat them or fed them to animals and if they didn't die we knew they were edible. Now real props to those early humans who figured out the foods that require some severe processing first before they can be eaten. They were definitely the type of people that went "I'm gonna eat that." "It'll kill me right now so I gotta figure out how, but I'm gonna eat it."
How did they make it? 2 comments

Speculation. Truth is we don't know. However, there are alot of chemicals that we do know of that can do the same thing.

Then the best I can tell you is that you most likely met many introverts you never even realized were introverts. This is not uncommon since many of us are perfectly functional and even comfortable in social situations even if it's not preferred. As far as the qualities of an introvert being negative I think you've got a bit of shortsightedness going on. Personally, I find many of the qualities of an extrovert annoying but I can also realize how they could be positive. So maybe spend some time listening to others opinions on the subject and try to keep an open mind. I'm not saying you should change your opinions just be open to the possibility that some of what we said is also true.

I think that's really the point though. He's trying to show his visible confusion at idiot people doing idiotic things. Better question would be why an Op-ed news anchor feels he needs to constantly make that face when discussing people in politics.

There was an episode of DS9 (Hard Time) where O'Brien served a 20 year sentence like this.

Most likely there was a natural disaster of some sort that decimated the population. Disease, famine, drought, any major upset could cause a severe impact in an urbanized environment. Being unable to get enough food or water would cause a population to shift into other places.

Because, people are people. Just because a extrovert has a particular quality it doesn't mean that only extroverts can have that quality. Taken as you've said it sounds like you think extroverts can have the good qualities of an introvert and the good qualities of being an extrovert but introverts can't have any qualities of an extrovert.

It was once described as Introverts recharge their batteries by being away from people while extroverts charge their batteries by being with people. Neither type has any impact on social ablilities

It's easier, and cheaper, to just learn both systems and use whatever system is needed at the time.

Proceed to complete chastise everyone in the government because of how stupid they are to rely on grappling sword wielders when they have rifled artillery. Sure the back of the neck may be the only kill shot but a single properly penetrating round can blow out the back of the neck by entering through the front much easier than some slinging sword wielder.
