I have one from the American strain that was brought over in I think the 20's. She's beautiful. Her fur is extremely soft but is actually in two layers. Together they form a water resistant layer that sheds liquids and provides insulation from snow. Mine used to lay in my bathroom sink and would just drink when I turned on the faucet. You can literally see the water run off the fur.

Not all of us stop and consider what is going on in our lives to determine if it's bad or good instead we're just living. Highs and lows may be a talking point but most of our lives are relatively flat.

Well it is a preference question but I am vehemently for B. Also it just so happens to be the prescribed method for use on the original patent for toilet paper. Also also, if you use A I am going to judge you and everything you do. But it is still a preference question.

I like quotes. I'm not a big fan of inspirational if by inspirational you mean makes you feel good or better. I do like the inspirational that inspires a person to study a topic more before deciding on their opinion though. Not a huge fan of having an opinion because something feels good/pleasant/I like that or bad/yucky/I don't like that. Sometimes a good feeling is bad and a yucky feeling is good.

Kinda on topic but kinda not. I once did a report for school about the death penalty. The question was whether the death penalty was a deterrent for crimes or not. The conclusion was it's generally not, but only because of it's current format. When the death penalty was carried out quickly, and publicly (this is important) it was far more effective as a deterrent. The problem happened when public executions were forbidden. It dropped significantly as a deterrent. The whole out of sight out of mind thing rapidly went into effect. Now as far as whether we should have it or not? I have my opinion but I won't share it. It all boils down to if you think the criminals can be successfully rehabilitated; the cost to society is worth the permanent detention in order to avoid a death; or the criminals death would benefit the society more than the negative of killing a human being.

As they say, context is everything. My first thought as I read that was "piece" referring to a piece of music. That being said I've never heard a sandwich called a piece so it's extremely unlikely I would ever have considered that as what was meant by the word.
