You're contradicting your original post. Homophobic much? Holding hands does not make you a homosexual. If you look at the 'bro code' that way, then it is homophobic.
Making people who are fighting do things like hold hands, or tying them together for a while is something that has been used for a technique for a long time, making them talk to each other and resolve the issues.
The only people making it homophobic are the ones who have homophobia.
Oh: and straight dudes/women can do what the hell they want when it comes to things like that, like homosexual dudes/women can.

That's not the idea though is it. It's not to look gay, it's meant to be to show friendship towards one another. Instead of fighting, they have to hold hands - being friendly.
