While I understand what you mean, this is actually a critical point imo. Because people who are unhappy because they're alone, tend to jump into the next possible relationship opportunity, which isn't always the best choice. Been there, done that, failed.
I think it's a good start to try and make your own company enjoyable, in combination with maybe a healthy social life. That way you don't have the urge to just have a partner so you don't feel alone anymore. By taking away that pressure, you can focus on finding someone that you really connect with, which might take patience and time.
I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.
