They would have to be very tight knots to not have room to let a bit of string through! But yes if they were that right it wouldn't be possible, I've also looked and can't find the solution I thought it was which is frustrating as I could have sworn it had something to do with one person crossing their arms.

https://youtu.be/aiNl-EL6vfk this isn't the solution I remember but it works without untying or adjusting anything

You don't remove the rope from your wrist though, I'll try and find a YouTube clip of the solution

They are also referred to as the dark ages because historians know relatively little about that time compared to other periods of history.

Yeah, for me anything enforced is metric e.g. litres of petrol and cm is definitely easier for measuring for craft projects and the like but otherwise I use imperial, probably because that's what my parents used so I'm still part of the switchover generations.

But stone isn't halfway it is literally part of the imperial weight system which Americans use anyway.

I don't get why stone is so weird to Americans who use imperial anyway. We only tend to use 'pounds' for people when they're babies so Americans (or anyone else) who say something like "They weigh 147lbs" always remind me of parents who say their child is 36 months or whatever.

Cool, I didn't know sharks sucked the blood from their prey. Also I could potentially find a shark who is willing to turn me into a shark?

In some cases-- have family history of mental health problems- > smoke it when young -> get high -> get paranoid -> exacerbate mental health problems -> smoke it to relax -> exacerbate mental health problems -> get paranoia -> lose friends and girlfriend -> smoke it -> exacerbate mental health problems -> get paranoid and depressed -> quit job -> financially forced to live at home with parents in 30s. (My family member's story) Yeah you probably won't die but it can ruin lives.

I think this was done a while ago before drones were widely available. Also, maybe they did it for the thrill?

My husband knows someone in real life who is a flat earther and posts lots about it on Facebook, husband then decided he 'believed' it too just to wind me up

Flat earthers would argue that flight times are all manipulated; e.g. the planes just fly around for the time that matches what would be needed for the fake round earth

'Takes the biscuit' is more common in UK English, usually used when someone does something really annoying e.g. "He asked to have a splash of milk then used the whole bottle!" "That just takes the biscuit!"
