Everyone pays taxes so everyone is entitled. Do you not believe in free at the point of use education either?

That's a staggeringly selfish attitude to have in my opinion

But can I ask, if treatment isn't denied why are there stories like the one in the picture?

To be fair I don't think anyone in countries with free-at-the-point-of-use healthcare is ever going to understand the mentality of paid healthcare countries and vice versa. It seems to be a completely different society and way of thinking, a good example of why you can't just pick and choose the best bits of other countries and try and shoe horn them into another country.

Ok, I don't want my elderly neighbours to feel like they have to get into debt or sell their house to afford basic treatment

And I don't want my elderly neighbours dying because they can't afford basic treatment

So why do we hear so many stories about people going into debt for what would be standard treatment in the UK?

People in countries with 'free' healthcare still pay for it but through taxes rather than at the point of use, it just gives a bit of protection to the most vulnerable people in our societies.

The real irony is that Ironic was written by a person who didn't know what irony is (Thanks Ed Byrne for pointing this out!)

I loved Voyager and NG, the new one is quite different to the older ones, husband loves it but it was too actiony for me. I recommend The Orville if you want something more traditionally Trekky.

This is actually relatively cheap compared to the UK (assuming 48 weeks a year, 5 days a week) would be roughly $310 a week compared to $214 in the post...but...we have subsidised childcare for children aged 3-5 and start school earlier so I guess it all evens out and I don't even know why I made this comment.

She is a British journalist who writes incredibly inciteful articles. She has written lots of offensive tweets and doesn't seem to have any filter so long as she's getting recognised for what she's saying. She's generally despised by a lot of people in Britain and everyone loved it when Philip Schofield took her down in This Morning (a UK breakfast TV show); she said she thought children named after locations were common and she wouldn't allow her children to play with them, he pointed out that her child is called India.

Can I have an example in western culture where men as a group have been oppressed please?
Also, I acknowledged that other groups have been oppressed but he doesn't appear to recognise the importance of these groups being disadvantaged in different ways and only wants to focus on proletariat Vs bourgeoisie. But perhaps I'm reading it wrong?

He sneers at Cathy Newman in a way I'm all too familiar with but perhaps that's his issue with her personally. He also thinks there shouldn't be such a focus on rectifying the fact that women particularly (amongst other groups) have historically been oppressed.

I wasn't, that's why I said "I get the impression that..." and "I find him..." Rather than "He is..."

Although she didn't handle it in the best way I can't cheer for him, he gives me the creeps and I get the impression he has some deep rooted only thinly veiled misogynistic views.

They can fly short distances up onto things or down from things. A bit like chickens. I'm guessing this photo is it gliding down from a perch.
