Ah ok, I did watch a video about somewhere in America not too long back where the residents have retained a very particular accent, I don't think it was Boston but can't remember where it was now. Apparently it resembles Shakespearean English. Accents are fascinating to me, how and why did they develop so differently in such close proximity in some cases.

10 years later would make it 2022? I'm guessing she must mean 5 years later after he was abandoned and 10 years since she first got him?

I say it every time when a post like this comes up; Brits' teeth are worse aesthetically but are generally better than Americans' in terms of cavities etc

If she's not old enough to decide whether or not to continue a pregnancy she wasn't old enough to consent to sex, ergo it was rape.

The reveal section of a home makeover show-
Host- "Manny wanted a neutral palette for his living room. Lawrence has gone for a light grey on the walls and added a darker grey sofa and cuddle chair. He added black and white blankets and scatter cushions to make it extra cosy. Let's see how Manny likes it"
Manny the mantis shrimp is lead into the room with his eyes closed
Host- "Ok, open your eyes, what do you think?"
Manny- "Errrrmmm..... It's certainly all very bright"

I like the implication that if you have a spacesuit you could live longer on earth than if you don't

How old is your kid? Joe Wicks is doing daily PE lessons on YouTube at 9am (BST) they then get left on YouTube as well so you don't have to watch live. They're fun enough for children to join in but hard enough to be a decent workout for adults.

There's also no Old York or Old Jersey but there is a York and Jersey, all the New places were named after the originals.
