I don't get the last picture, is it a play on the word Fawkes because that doesn't sound anything like fox the way I say it or am I missing something?

Or worse, there's three staples left in it and you need more than that!

My opinions aren't influenced by random people on the internet "liking" or downvoting them so I'm not too bothered if they're unpopular :)

I have many thanks, and lucky for me I have the mental capacity to take part in them whilst also briefly wondering about other things in my life.

I wondered how long it would take one or both of us to get downvoted, took longer than expected to be fair!

I don't believe I said anywhere that men are toxic by nature. I said toxic femininity often has the same traits as toxic men.

Just my opinion but- Toxic femininity is seen in women who distance themselves from women as a group because they hold the same beliefs as toxic men.
It's the women who explain their inability to complete a task typically considered masculine purely on the fact they're a woman.
Also women who put other women down in a way that men who did the same would be called out on.
Whilst individuals should be aware of their own behaviour it should be noted that just like toxic masculinity this is often because we have been socialised to believe women are lesser than men in some way.

I mentioned at my cat's checkup in January that I thought he may be a bit overweight and the vet said to him "Aaaww it's ok, you're just carrying a bit of holiday weight aren't you?"

So I watched a TV program recently that talked about how rationing lasted for 9 years after the end of the second world war.
I looked up why and it was partly because America stopped exporting food to us when we voted in a Labour government and partly because we were helping to feed all the countries in Europe who had been occupied and starved by the Nazi regime. People in the Netherlands had been surviving by eating grass and pets.
So it kind of puts in to context why we have the reputation for having rubbish cuisine, we had no ingredients to cook with for nearly 15 years.

My mum bought me a wooden plaque to hang in my house that says "My house isn't messy, it's just that everything is on display for your viewing pleasure, like a museum"
