For example, a Jewish lawyer would still have to defend a Nazi. An environmentalist would have to defend a big corporation from consequences surrounding an oil spill. There aren't many ways somebody can get out of it, not in NZ at least. Having too much work already, the client not being able to pay, a conflict of interest, and the area of work not being your specialty are the only 4 iirc.

This applies to law, to a less comfortable extent. You have to represent all sorts of people/companies, regardless of personal views
