its a valid issue i think they did it a disservice by calling it 'depression'. i think that's why so many people don't take it seriously. also, a problem is a problem whether its big or small it matters to you and it's a bit disrespectful to tell people to suck it up. however, depression can be confused with other things like dissatisfaction and the like and in that case you really do need to suck it up.
