It's true that people selfishly tell women to have abortions because it inconveniences them, but I think your initial logic is flawed. Without knowing the true disposition of the priests or bishops who forced these women to get abortions, it is still believed that killing an unborn child is evil. That doesn't make it imposible to commit this evil for a person who believes it's evil. I might have sex with a woman who isn't my wife, but I still believe adultery is bad. So it's wrong to say it's "typical" of an anti-abortion person to be only motivated by selfishness. Although now I'm interested to look up the logistics of hypocrisy. Do you think it's okay if people are unable to hold themselves up to a certain standard, dictated by faith or worldview? And are you able to make mistakes or willfully act against your beliefs without discrediting your entire outlook?

Regardless of my personal feelings on the matter I try and respect everyone's point of view. The only thing I really hate is when someone curses you out and tell you to shut up. No room for people like that. It's childish, no help to anyone, and just rediculous.
