I like the middle kid who is somewhat embarrassed and also respects the dad joke, like "haha yes, good one, I must remember this for when I too have offsprings".

To this day one of my most favorite ads. They're just so clever, artistic even, a bit savage, and something I can totally get behind.

Jedi mind trickery 7 comments

Actually there is a theory about Darth Vader in the comics that he constantly used mind tricks. Darth Vader is said to be the greatest Jedi killer, since after order 66 he truly did kill the remaining Jedi faithful to the order single handedly, just tons of Jedi. Apparently he uses the power of the dark side to invade the Jedi's minds and undermine their connection to the force by, for lack of a better term, intimidating them and causing them to feel fear. The Jedi experiences anger, confusion, and doubt which subtly severs their connection to the force, since the Jedi's are taught to use the force by positive emotions and concentration or something, leaving them significantly weaker. At least that's what I understand.

That's so crazy. Garantee facial recognition software would see a male face. I think it's the jawline and the short hair that really make it possible.

Either he's referring to gender reassignment surgery, or more likely an actual form of "circucision" performed on females in certain countries. Gotta say it doesn't sound great.

It's true that people selfishly tell women to have abortions because it inconveniences them, but I think your initial logic is flawed. Without knowing the true disposition of the priests or bishops who forced these women to get abortions, it is still believed that killing an unborn child is evil. That doesn't make it imposible to commit this evil for a person who believes it's evil. I might have sex with a woman who isn't my wife, but I still believe adultery is bad. So it's wrong to say it's "typical" of an anti-abortion person to be only motivated by selfishness. Although now I'm interested to look up the logistics of hypocrisy. Do you think it's okay if people are unable to hold themselves up to a certain standard, dictated by faith or worldview? And are you able to make mistakes or willfully act against your beliefs without discrediting your entire outlook?
