I've basically come to the conclusion that vegan is the morally correct thing to do but can't bring myself to stop eating meat. I'd love to hear a counterargument to the video though, I haven't sought out a ton to justify that opinion yet because I can't commit to it.

No. If the object loses a property of itself, then it must lose the other things that make up the object that create that property. And all things have "properties," so wouldnt all parts of the object stop to exist? (The wording gets confusing here when you take into consideration that there's no such thing as a single object, everything being made of other things in a likely infinitely complex spiral)

But if it lost all of it's "properties" then it lost all of the things that causes those things... it just wouldn't exist anymore

It's exxagerated. I go to a private school that's only known for their athletics and recruits athletes (in fucking high school). Like 90% of the students do at least one sport. I don't do any sports and it's no like that. Nothing beyond my friends jokingly calling me lazy. You can definitely gain a lot of popularity by being a football or basketball player though.
