The worst part is having to put them down. I would give so much for them to just pass in their sleep, this is my third dog in a row that had to be put down. They just reach a point where they can't even walk or eat, and I know I'm doing the right thing but it absolutely destroys me every time. Right up until the last second there's a part of me crying out not to let the vet do it.

She was amazing, always. I don't think it has sunk in with my other dog that her sister isn't coming home. I'm so burnt out from crying it hurts
