Taxes aren't insanely high, just high. And we don't have to pay thousands of dollars everytime we're in the hospital. And the best universities are free. The average yearly salary is 65,000 dollars in Norway. So even though we pay more taxes than Americans, we end up with more money than you after tax, despite paying more.
