That's why you should be friends with Norway. Plus we're pretty cool.

Fun fact: what is now known as Newfoundland, he called "Vinland" which means "The country of wine".

He did't conquer anything. He just discovered it, and went back basically.

I don't have a basement in my house, just 2 stories plus a loft. And I am very fit actually, I have been active in ballet and gymnastics since I was three. So I do know quite a lot about working out and stretching. My "fat ass" is actually quite bony and petite, so I wish It was a bit fatter actually. And my comment wasn't meant to be mean, I just pointed out that she must be doing something wrong, because 2h every single day does give you results if you do it correctly and eat healthy. I just think she has shitty exscuses tbh.

While stretching is an important part of working out, it's not actually a work out. So either you run for like 2 min and stretch the rest of those two hours, don't exercise correctly or eat shitty food.

The Drake one is very obvious, when Drake has a filter on him, and the guy doesn't.

Choosing a president this term is like... 7 comments
norwegiangirl · 8 years ago
In Norway we have a term for that, that is widely used when having to chose between two or more horrible situations. We say "the plague or cholera?" meaning it's like choosing to get either one of those deseases. Both will kill you, and both are horrible deaths.

The way she says "current boyfriend" makes it sound like he won't be sticking around for too long.

random knowledge: every time someone writes "Ikr" I blink and think "what?" because in Norwegian "kr" is our currency (kroner), so just like Americans write $1, Norwegians use 1 kr. So I always read "Ikr" as (1 kr), and just wonder why someone would put a price (and a very affordable one too) on a comment.
Hope someone will get good use of that knowledge someday.

My grandparents (who are Norwegian) lived in Copenhagen for two years, and in that time, they gave birth to my mom. She lived in Denmark until she was one. But does that make her Danish? NO. Cruz is not Canadian just because he was born there during a time that his parents lived there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he couldn't be running for president if he was a Canadian citizen at birth. You have to be born an American citizen to run.

Norway has independence day, but we dont celebrate it. We celebrate the day we wrote our constitution, even though we were still almost a hundred years from being a free, independent country at that time.
