But I get that if you're from a society where everyone drives automatic, and you've learned automatic first, then it might be harder to adjust.

As a Norwegian, this is wierd to me. Everyone here drives stickshitf, and only a handful doesn't learn it. And it's really not that hard at all.

That woman is Danish, and runs a shelter in Nigeria, if I remember correctly. She found him, after the child was labeled as a witch, and left alone. The woman actually needed 24h protection when the story came out, because she was being targeted for helping out an outcasted witch...

In Norway we have a saying: "det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlig klær", which rhymes and tanslates to "no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes" which ufortunately don't rhyme.
But you can bet that every Norwegian kid has gotten that line from their parent when complaining about the weather, which of course happens a lot when living in the artic..
That's the daily dose of Norwegian funfacts.

I totally relate, tinymarshmellow! Norway has about 5 million inhabitants, which is the same amount of people in many cities around the world...

Despite Norwegians crazy binge-drinking habits, we do have surprisingly good livers, all thanks to liver crossfit.

I would turn it the other way around, so that most people are told to go away, but the one's that make it in to my home is told to "come in" everytime they try to leave.

I have to admit, I'm not the one usually making the bread. But maybe it's a different yeast here in Norway? I know the yeast works great, and that we don't put sugar in, so... it works.

A lot of countries makes bread with sugar, so it's just wierd for me who's used to bread without sugar in it. But even without sugar, the bread we make is delicious and tasteful, and of course large and airy, even without the "food for yeast". Maybe because we only use fresh yeast?

This bread sounds a bit..not so good. All white flour and sugar? We only eat homemade bread, with no sugar and and lots of wholewheat, oats etc and it is delicios!

Best part is that he actually (obviously) survived that! The tiger was probably so baffled, like "what?? No one has ever done THAT to me!!"

It is? Like officially? Because I see them more as north, at least Pakistan. India goes quite far South too, but most of India is, in what I see as north or at least "the middle".

I think this shark one is my face comparison: http://m.imgur.com/EaSuwLq?r
But trust me, when you're there in real life, you won't be thinking about boogieman or a shark, but rather just "...wow"
