No, it suggest that the single father with 4 kids shouldn't have to work over time and put aside money for weeks just to spend on the meet and greet, when for the rich father 170$ is nothing to him. Ed likes meeting his fans and he wants to give everyone an equal chance to meet him. By making tickets expensive, it makes it harder for the poor father to buy a ticket for his son.

That would be a problem. Maybe the aging only happens when your around the person a lot? But that might still be a problem if your coworker is your soulmate.

You should Always have the choice 61 comments

The thing is guest, you're grandmother chose not to have to have an abortion. It has her choice and her's alone. By making abortion a legal procedure, we are giving women the right to chose for themselves, the right to chose what happens to their own bodies, the right to chose their own future.

Subtly bring up in conversion something that has to do with homosexuality. There's usually something in the news or a new bill being passed every now and then, so use that as an excuse. Observe how they react to the subject and try to get their honest opinion about it. From there, you can generally get a pretty good idea on where they stand on the subject and if they'll treat you any differently. I think that if you don't make a big deal out of it, they won't either.

A procrastinator would do the assignment, but they'd do it at the last minute.

It's a beauty blender, you use it to blend different types of makeup to make it look more even and natural, and hide the edges between the different types.

And that end of the day, your mindless bigotry doesn't matter, because "you older guys" are being replaced by a generation and a society that is more willing to listen, more willing to be accepting and more willing to change for the better. You are being replaced by a new generation and society that won't let your personal opinion keep them from being happy.

No, I do not get your meaning. I'm sorry to say that that was just a rambling of various thoughts that are barely stringed together to form a narration. Your comment is in no way a structured argument, and your writing does nothing to add credence to your arguments, which to reinstate, barely make any sens at all. Not to mention that rational scientific research disproves a lot of what you are saying.
Being open minded does not mean blindly accepting everything humanity throws at you, and it certainly doesn't make someone smarter than anyone else. Being open minded means being ready to hear other people's opinions, being willing to listen to their arguments and taking the time to actually think about what they are saying. It means not being a mindless bigot who spits out whatever he was spoon fed.

It think this is more about how the younger generation is more open minded and ready to accept people's differences than the older generation, not about how smart one group or another thinks they are.

So many movies ruined a good book because they skipped a lot of little parts 10 comments

I wouldn't say a bad movie adaptation "ruins" the book, but it can be a major disappointment. Take Eragon for instance, one of my favorite books which I've read multiple times. When I found out there was a movie adaptation, I was so excited to see what they did with it, to see the characters in my mind come to life. But I was really disappointing to see that the only thing they really got right was the title. On it's own it's not that bad, but when compared to the book, it's a bitter disappointment. And it can be hard to hear someone say how much they love the movie while you're there thinking "Man, if only you loved to read! Then you'd really see how amazing a universe this really is!"
