Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be mean to someone you hate. Disliking someone doesn't mean every interaction you have with that person has to be negative or rude, in fact two people can have a mutual dislike for one another and still respect each other.

I don't believe in anything, I don't label myself anything but I guess most would call be an atheist (I just don't like the stigma and assumptions that come with that title). Totally agree with @robbouche who summed it up very nicely, don't be an asshole, respect other people's beliefs, don't push your own onto others and just live a happy life.

To discover if other animals have empathy. Sad (ironically), not entirely necessary but interesting and useful to discover more about ourselves, other creatures and what emotions are innate and what are learnt.
