This is what my friends told me the morning after a party. I was drunk and so was this other girl. The girl suddenly lays down on the floor and I apparently joined her bc I felt bad that "she was alone on the floor with no one to lay down with" She cried and called me her "best floor friend" and we proceeded to hold hands and sing.

Oh ok. So Freud had this psychological theory that a child first love is their parent. (A girl with her dad and a boy with his mom, generally speaking) it makes sense seeing as you got Mommy's Boy and Daddy's girl. Usually one grows out of it. But sometimes a child doesn't grow out of it. This is where you get the whole "Daddy Issues" thing. He brought up the terms Opedius and Electra Complex. To a degree he had a point, but as psychology grew and expanded, his theories were not well liked or accepted. So the joke is, the more you say daddy, the more you prove him right.
