I hate people who give the cashiers a hard time. It's a business that has constantly changing priceing do to market prices. The item is not on sale/wrong price/ expired coupon, take it or leave it. I hate being behind someone that thanks the cashier has the ability to rule the company/store.

The car battery could have failed and the chance of getting to the shoulder in traffic with no power or lights , just coasting. The real moral of the story is the car that hit him wasn't looking far enough ahead to anticipate/react in time.

Some of my Great Uncles were in WW2, one was at the Battle of Buldge with 101st. My dad's dad was a sack of shit, my mom's dad was lumbering and he used a bar against his legs to pry a guy out that got crushed with a tree, the guy lived but it messed up my grandpa's knee for the rest of his life. My grandpa would have gone in the service after Pearl Harbor if he could have walked right.

I always try to go to the cashier. I don't usually have a couple of items and I think of it as a little bit of job security. Plus if something doesn't scan I can ask if it is free, I've heard that they like that (just kidding).

Agreed, I didn't say it wasn't important from time to time, but it's always started by a few evil asshats. Freedom is worth death. Famousone , my dad fought in Korea, I was in the first gulf war and Somalia, he used to have a tapestry of paratroops jumping into combat. The saying on the tapestry was"Airborne provides the enemy the maximum opportunity to give his life for his country ". He lied about his age, went in at 16, I think he was still 17 when he made his first combat jump. I couldn't imagine myself doing that at 17.

I never liked automatic transmission for mountains. I trust my own judgment about what gear I want. Nice sleeper set up though.

It's unfortunate that the police are starting to go with Glocks that have no safety lock. A lot of police departments across the US have switched and are switching. They don't have the same training as the Secret Service.

Caffeine sensitivity can be serious. Damn good thing he stuck with music after Nirvana. Glad he is rolling out good tunes instead of rolling down the hi way , with out any coffee,as a long haul ,over the road truck driver.
