Well, both of them were to fall off if that was the case. The roadrunner would just stop the moment he hits the ledge, instead of continuing. Basically, You need to cut the while(); statement off a little earlier than 'not ledge' (which couldn't be a variable in the first place, as variables can't contain more than one word).

*bullshitting science for denial* No, this is aluminum, a metallic element so there was no thermal energy, just kinetic. Since a chicken can be cooked it absorbs the thermal energy instead of the s l a p, making it cooked and not splattered.
