I agree with you on the obey the laws part to a certain extent, because some laws are there for a reason, and while some seem unnecessary, there is *usually* a reason behind them

Well, I'm just saying that the US government isn't the one to blame when you feel pressured to have kids. I criticize the government when it takes away freedom, or tells you how to get married, or who you can't get married to. I don't criticize the government when it tries to inform me of world events.

The government doesn't tell you to get married or watch the news or have kids...and if you don't want to do those things, then you don't have to.

Be unemployed
Live alone
Have no kids
Don't pay taxes, watch the country have no money to defend itself with
Don't pay bills, steal from small businesses
Stay uninformed of world events
Act strangely
Don't obey the law, murder and steal
Now repeat after me, you are free

What happened to being nice to someone because it's the right thing to do? Why do people always expect something more in return?

Actually, if they immigrated illegally, they can't demand higher pay or their employers will inform the government and get them deported. It's a terrible system, as the workers get exploited because no one who lives in the US legally would work for that amount of pay. Factories and factory farms play a large part in this.
