Every one is I (eg. I, II, III - 1,2,3) Fives are V and ten is X. In four, instead of doing IIII you do IV (as in 1 before 5). Six becomes VI (one after five) 7=VII 8=VIII.
9 is similar to 4 where it is IX (one before 10) and so on.
1-I 2-II 3-III 4-IV 5-V 6-VI 7-VII 8-VIII 9-IX 10-X
It's not that hard once you get the hang on it. XX=20 (two tens) XXX-30 (three tens). Again similarly to 4 and 5, 50-L and 40 is IL (one before L or 50). Using this you can put them together. (eg. 27 is XXVIII (2 tens, 5 and 3))

They actually tracked a bunch of them in the water ways near where I live. They traveled from salt to fresh about 5 times really short amount of time going all the way from one end of the river to the other. The smart thing is though, that there is a parasite that lives in the sharks but that parasite cant survive in the freshwater.
