Wow. In QLD we have people that like will come do rounds every couple minutes and ask if you want more drinks and after your food as been served come and ask if it is okay or if you need anything. They wait staff at most places are pretty good. There are some dodgy ones though

The tip to doing an aussie accent is not moving your tongue as much when you speak. We are very lazy people so we don't move our tongue a lot and speak in a slightly flat tone. That;s what makes it so easy for us to do other accents because we just have to move our mouths more where as everyone else has to try and move theirs less which is pretty hard.

Normally at things like cafes and 'non-fancy' restaurants you don't normally tip unless you are like felling really nice and have spare change and put it in a tip jar. You only normally tip properly at 'fancy-er' restaurants or if you have REALLY good service somewhere
