(Australian btw) It depends what context I'm using it in. I normally will say England or Britain but I know that other people do classify them all as one without actually knowing they are completely different places so to cause less confusion I will sometimes just say the UK.

Yeah. They chose 28th becuase that's the same day as my dad (we are different months though) but my mum and brother are exactly the same day. Kinda cool how it worked out
