Also typically stage IV cancer isn't curable (at least immediately). It enters a state of 'no disease detected'. And only once that occurs for 5 years is the cancer considered in remission. Stage IV means it's spread throughout the body.

Trans people, as far as I know do not change genders because they have the wrong chromosomes. Neither do they change "for attention". The trans people I know suffered for years because they felt wrong in their bodies. Which in many cases can cause depression, anxiety and a whole host of other problems. It takes a monumental amount of courage to not only admit that but to then face the stigma, the negative reactions and the hardships that go along with trying to grow into the person they truly feel they were meant to be. I can't say anything on the topic of what's scientifically going on because I'm no expert on it. All I can say is to be kind to your fellow human.
