Despite the 57 posts that have been hidden, I think there’s more to it than “it was a joke.”
I think in regard to personal relationships, it sucks, but bottom line whether a woman is strong or in fact insufferable doesn’t matter if he can’t handle it.
The problem is in work environments where you have less ability to choose who you’re working with. Because no matter how funny it is to call bitches insufferable, every fucking day people call women who are just trying to get the job done and not be a wilting flower, bitchy, insufferable, stubborn, arrogant, aggressive, etc.
So the point is, it’s not a very funny joke when it’s the context that people use to pass you over for promotions, keep you off important project teams and just generally treat you like trash.
And yes, I’ve spent some time with, maybe I am _____.

Last week I had to explain to a couple coworkers what Y2K meant/was. They are old enough to have professional specialties, but young enough that they had no awareness of that event.

And it takes a lot of knowledge and skill to consistently get the shot. Especially if it needs to demonstrate something specific, fill a specific space or solve a specific business/marketing issue

I think the reason people are reacting that way is because often assertive, “I don’t want to give you my number,” is called bitchy. Someone mentioned it, behaviors that are acceptable for men are not for women, and deemed aggressive and “insufferable.”

I looks like he has a big swastika tattooed to his stomach, which is distasteful enough, but given the Star of David on her shirt, I suspect she finds it especially distasteful.

When the nurse doesn't apply pressure after a blood test. Day 1-4 10 comments

Yeah. I have a bleeding tendency, so it happens to me sometimes too.but it has nothing to do with pressure. Like @rugbyplayer said up there, it’s blowing a vein. And it’s a big old bruise, and it feels like a big deep bruise.

It’s truth. I know I am much more likely to hold onto something I don’t need when I can’t afford to buy a new one, because I might need it (and I won’t be able to afford a new one).
I know that when I am financially secure (whew, there was a minute there) I can readily get rid of things.

Very well done. I would say the most important improvement you could make would be contrast. When drawing/painting in black and white people have a tendency to allocate the same shade to both depth of color and dimensional depth. So it ends up making it look flat.
A great way to practice is to illustrate a collection white objects and add one single object with a really bold color. It will help you balance the difference in color density and dimensional density.

My phone is on silent at all times. If I accidentally trip the ringer and the phone chimes/rings I get so confused because I haven’t heard it in so long that I don’t know where the noise comes from.
That said, I’m cursed with quite delicate sleep. If someone calls me in the middle of the night, even on silent, it will wake me.

I don’t think she’s suggesting we need sleep, I think she’s suggesting we need sleep at specific times (night), in reference to natural, diurnal circadian rhythms. This is true.
However, we are discovering that there are people with “delayed sleep phase” that have distinctly different or delayed sleep cycles. Sleep is still important but it is important at different times. There is emerging some fascinating study on the topic. Especially to the true night owls out there.
I’m one of those. I work a day job so my habit is to wake up at 6 am and go to bed at 9-10 pm. But I am always tired—like someone who works a night shift. When I worked a night shift and slept during the day, I slept fewer hours and felt better rested. With my diurnal cycle, I am constantly fighting against my body’s nocturnal cycle.
I don’t recall feeling a “burst of energy “ in the night, I recall a greater sense of mental clarity and the feeling that I was well rested.

Yeah. I’ve opened up every apple product I’ve ever owned (except the iPhone 4, because that bitch was solid and never needed anything) to either replace parts, repair components or add stuff... like RAM. The iMacs these days are a real pain to open up.
