I think our view on how the future would go was also pretty different [I don't want biological children at all, but I'm keen to adopt if I ever want kids and he really wants to continue his bloodline and have biological children of his own] which made it hard to plan a life together....
But yeah, ultimately I realised that being in a relationship with someone that I didn't have a social connection to was hard, but spending the rest of my life with them would be a slow suicide
