Or just use a scanner. There's not fun Ctrl+F feature, but it's still better than nothing.

The bigger problem is that with wind energy, we can't "store" it like we can with nuclear power and whatnot. It has to be used right away, which is kind of a problem, if you ask me.

Oh yeah, this was early college when I was like 18. I had suffered from depression since about 14, big self-harmer, all that jazz. When she told me that, I realized I needed help. Real help. It took a lot of therapy, but it's gotten better. Now, I have a problem with chaos in my home since I had my daughter 6 years back. Having messes and disarray puts me in a real tizzy, like panic attack mode. My husband isn't helping and with the added stress of finishing college, working all the time, and just life...I've debated if I need to go back to therapy and perhaps go on medication. I have this very real desire to jump off the roof of my house, or just not get out of bed at all, and it's terrifying.

I remember when I told my Mom I was depressed and she told me I should pray to God, because that would fix it....

This is why I rent/buy used when possible. University bookstores are a joke. I charge the suckers to my credit card and use the excess aid to cover it. Save like $300 on average/semester

The thing with drug regulation, is that you buy your patent on the drug for so many years, usually the 15-20 year mark. So, this drug's patent was up and therefore for sale. Now, while it was cultivated in the 70s or whenever, the original makers were probably able to keep it cheap. However, when Shkrelis bought that patent, he probably did pay a shit ton for the patent and is trying to offset his expense within an appropriate time frame. Did he overcharge? Of course. It wasn't illegal, just unethical. However, he's an entrepreneur. Those guys are always jackasses. Blame the involvement of the government for ridiculously high prices on healthcare. Health insurance should be like car insurance to an extent: you have the ability to shop around ahahahahahahahaha I wish.

The sad thing is when Algebra starts making sense and you do fine, then they throw Calculus in your face.

That really, really sucks, I am sorry about that. I missed the first few minutes waiting in line to get treats for the family. I was a lucky duck. Maybe the other spouse can give you a break and let you go see it by yourself, or get a babysitter :)

I think I banned myself from Christmas party interactions for next year. There were 3 girls at our annual Friendsmas last night. 1 had moved away last year and came back as a surprise for the weekend, so the 3 were taking constant selfies for hours and being generally loud and uppity. I couldn't take it, I was ready to go home, but hubby wasn't at all and I didn't want to leave and make him said, so instead I said, "You ladies are so loud you're depleting my social meter battery." The room got uncomfortably quiet.

We went and saw it yesterday. Had a fantastic theater crowd that clapped and cheered along with us.

You know what, I surprisingly haven't seen anything through my casual scrolling, and that includes Facebook, which LOVES to post spoilers. All my Facebook friends have been very respectful. Btw, it was good. The hype is real.

Isn't it only that the writing for Japanese is considered more difficult? So it is easier to learn how to speak in Japanese before learning how to read it?

North Dakotans had a while there where it was pretty much 100 degrees every day. We're just not used to humid heat. We get a lot of the dry, Arizona-style heat though. 80s-90s in the summer is a totally normal thing.

Pro tip: Don't ask Mom if she needs help, just start cleaning or some shit. Be like, Mom I'm going to help you on some chores today, don't ask if she needs help. Just say you're going to help and ask her if there's anything in particular she'd like done. Do things without being asked in the first place. For the love of god, keep your room clean and just be a generally decent human being and it's all good.

Yeah, only when it's 2+ feet, the sheer weight is overwhelming, and the city already used its budget since it's the end of the year right now and they can barely run plows. But in truth, I haven't seen school closed due to snow in years. School got closed once or twice last year because it was about -75, but that was it.
