No actually when I was 13 there was a new student who didn't speak English well, so people asked me (as I was the only one who spoke her language) anything to say for her, I told them words that mean rude things, and they had no idea so they said it to her and I watched her grimace

The reason Poles call it Niemcy is because they didn't understand the German language as its very different to Polish. So the word 'niemy' means 'mute' as in cannot speak, and so that's why it is called 'Niemcy'

In Polish there are soft and hard consonants of similar sounds. Ć and cz, dź and dż, ś and sz, ź and ż/rz

In Polish it's CZ and Ć. CZ is the voiceless retroflex afficaye, which is harder in pronunciation. Ć is the voiceless alveolo-palatal sibolant affricare which is softer.
