Yes official list of languages, but it doesn't mean it counts as an Indian language. French and German are official languages of Switzerland and Belgium, but they aren't classed in the same language family. Bengali did not originate from Devnagari, but yes it did from a Brahmic script. 'some differences in writing and wordings'. No, more like a lot because I barely understand anything at a from any Indian languages. E.g. Hindi is much more closely related to Urdu

They are two different countries, so you cannot call this an Indian show. It is Indo-Aryan, not Indian. They neither sound nor look the same, Indian languages and Bengali use different alphabet systems. It is the same if you call a Pakistani show Indian, which is wrong. Bengali is NOT an Indian language.
