True. A lot of trans people find the term offensive, but I know one who enjoys and embraces it. She's lovely.

I'll have a corner in which a spider appears occasionally. I name them, and I get sad when they leave. The last one was named Britney, but she died last week.

It doesn't indicate racism, but it does reveal an underlying bias when they comment on the total ethnic dominance in one team without doing it for members of another team based solely on their ethnicity.

I agree with this, but there aren't many people trying to say that smoking is healthy which is why it gets so much attention.

Child abuse was, and still is, extremely common. To those who disagree, what do you call the purposeful hitting of a child with the intent to cause harm? I call it child abuse.

It means that you are very unlikely to be correct and, in the unlikely event that you are correct, you most certainly aren't educated enough on the topic to list why you are correct while he is not. Rather than speaking out in class, if this is the case, then send an email with a well spoken request for a further explanation of that topic with the science papers that you believe contradict him.
In the vast majority of cases, you are most likely the incorrect one while the professor is correct. Professors can be incorrect, but this situation is the outlier to the norm. But I do agree that some professors will resent you for questioning them, however, there is no reason to make that resentment more likely and/or stronger by interupting them in the middle of class.

It's not exactly rocket science. Poland is a primarily white country, so it has more white people. More white people gives higher odds for those who are qualified which, as spooky mentioned, is the most important factor.

Although I have never met this individual, I can be certain that he was great.

The snake may not be hungry. Snakes won't always eat just because there is food available. In a few days (or weeks depending on the breed), the snake will almost certainly eat it.
