Hehehe...I'm pretty sure you'd be doing all the protecting, he'll bark but he's super scared of people (at first) he loves other dogs though. He had his sister when he was little, but he lost her. So if he smells you he loves you and you're nice he loves you. I don't know if he'll ever not be afraid of quick movements...when I first got him I moved like a sloth for the best part of a year.

Definitely look up American Ultra, and you'd love Charlie, he's really shy because for the first 2 years of his life he was neglected...so he loves life now! He's my best friend, a little sheltie. He does get scared easily though :'(
