Smitty

smitty

I am just a very thin layer of charming with some funny sprinkles wrapped around a huge creamy center of raging arrogant a-hole.

Yes, that is true but it also depends on how that information is presented to them.

It has been found that when a challenge and information is presented in a kind way, a way that engages them in a conversation and not a lecture, people are more likely to listen.
Similarly, if the conversation is approached in a such a way to not only engage them, but to also encourage them to ask their own questions, it has been shown that people are far more receptive to at least talking and listening.

Imagine that. Be nice to people and they will listen to you.

@diyrogue, since you frame it that way, I realised they have committed the logical fallacy of "Appeal to Authority" by invoking "scientists."
Good catch.

No, no they haven't. Science demands evidence and with evidence, there can be no "opposing viewpoints."
Without evidence, it is merely hypothetical and conjecture.

Nevermind that the website in question has dubious veracity.

I'm sorry bro, that is your life now.
That is where you now live.
To wake her is a greater cardinal sin than waking a cat, even though she will understand when you try to explain.

Let. Her. Sleep.

I've seen it as vibrant in real life.

*what's left of the human.
If I recall correctly, Murphy suffers from severe amnesia as a result of his trauma and was essentially reprogrammed and retrained to be functional.
Potentially more dangerous I think, a human mind capable of feeling emotion but not having the memories of growth and coping mechanisms to deal with them.

Also a theme in the second movie when some of his memories started to return and the attempts by OCP to build Robocop Mk II.
