Well, it isn't cheap or quick to making your own decent jerky. Good or excelent? That's going to be even more money and time practicing getting your technique down.
Making my own taught me this and gave me a better appreaciation of the cost.

Strength doesn't need to come from numbers. Sometimes there's strength in unshakable loyal allies.
We all come from the same disfunctional family, the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand AND Canada. We fight, squabble, take the piss and give each other shit, but the true soldiers know that their mates and bros have their back when the cards are down.
Besides, Canadians don't need numbers when you have snipers like you do. Three of the top five (declassified) shots are held by Canadians. Two of which I recall should have been impossible and the number one shot I think is twice that of second place. Trust me, that's relevant.

While this may be true, saying so in the current climate smacks of the tired old refrain "all lives matter."
It rings hollow and strays close to logical fallacy. In that, "Non Sequiter," because that's not the point right now and "Either/Or" and "False Dichotomy," because there's a spectrum and because of the conspiracy of silence from "good cops."
As well as "Unstated Major Premise" with "NIMBY," in that because that the problem isn't everywhere and all encompasing, it isn't a problem.

And to kharmicly top it all off, there is a new bill in NY legislation to criminalize and classify false 911 reports based on race as a hate crime.
It's called the Amy Cooper bill and it has governer Coumo's support.
