I am just a very thin layer of charming with some funny sprinkles wrapped around a huge creamy center of raging arrogant a-hole.

David Prowse, the actor who played Darth Vader.
Before y'all get your noodles in a knot... Vader was a character of such magnitude, it took three actors to bring him to life. David Prowse in the costume, James Earl Jones for the voice and Sebastian Shaw when he was unmasked.

Uh oh. That cutie looks to be at least part Russian Blue. Excelent cats to be sure, but they can be quite the trouble makers.

This is why the thought of interacting with big cats I find unnerving. No matter how "tame" or "adjusted" it might be... it's not that it is still a wild creature, it's that it is still a cat.
I still might take my chances with a cheatah though.

I think someone else is caught up in the mix with us... in fact, I think you have some upvotes now.
While I do believe that that volume should drain in three(ish) days, I can't cite specific examples. The only one I "personally witnessed" was the Atlanta flooding from 9/9/09, most of that took longer than 3 days I think though, but the volume of water was waaay higher.
The aerial shot of 6 Flags from that often gets mixed up with abandoned amusement parks compilations... since 9/9/09 was a tuesday and 6 Flags reopened that weekend, maybe that drain and recovery time could be charitably called three days.

The same reason he tried to snatch a Hogwarts letter from the air instead of just picking one up off the floor.
The primary reason he wasn't sorted into Ravenclaw.

Fun fact, that is a geologically identified and described mineral and not just a "snow formation."
It was first seriously worked on at the Mount Washington Summit Observatory.
(The name escapes me at the moment.)

For whatever reasons, Ray, call it . . . fate, call it luck, call it karma. I believe everything happens for a reason.

Last night I captured a shot of the ISS transiting the nearly-full moon. Zoom in on the 5 comments

That is a very hard shot to catch. The ISS is moving at about 18,000 mph. Transiting the moon, literally blink and you miss it.
I saw it cross the night sky this past summer, we had about 90 seconds or so of visibility horizon to horizon and it was moving faaast.
