This is why the illiterate Norse are seen as murderous thugs. Their history was written by the peoples on which they inflicted themselves. Ok that might not be the ONLY reason.

With chickens and smaller it's a bit unnecessary. Turkeys however improve dramatically with proper brining.

I'm so thankful that my bodily autonomy was protected throughout my life's entire reproductive era (which is now over). I feel so terribly sorry for all the American women facing this situation and the attitudes behind it.

I enjoy the (English) language podcast "Something rhymes with purple." The hosts cite archaic words or phrases with the goal to bring them back into use. I think "having the morbs" was on there a while back

Sometimes I have to ask for a favor. I start by saying that I will ask a favor (to prepare you), that you don't have to answer right now, and that it's ok to say no. I know it's hard to say no anyway but I try to set a good framework.
